Baltic Amber and Mushrooms Amulet NecklaceDid you know that this amber has been re-purposed? It belonged to a jewel made in the 70s, that was sold at a pawn shop for metal-weight. The precious metal was fused and recycled and this stone was taken out of the jewel and sold again, in hope to adorn a new piece, and have a new life of its own. I purchased it, despite the small scratches due to age that it has (that are not much visible but they are there and I think they give it unique light) and chose this design to incapsulate all it’s beauty. What is amber? It is a fossilized resin of prehistoric trees that grew millions of years ago. And can range in color from clear, pale yellow, to orange, to dark brown. This piece is entirely hand made, every little component has been fabricated by hand from sheet and wire metal.

Fae Mushroom House with High Grade Moss Agate NecklaceThis special necklace is in the shape of a mushroom, that has been converted into a house by a pretty little fae or the woods. All the little details are hand-sawn and hand fabricated by hand from sheet metal. In the front you can see a traditional fae door made out of solid wood and an arch of stones. On the top floor there's a little classic round window, to spy on the neighboring faes. On the outside of the mushroom house, there are plants and vines climbing up the walls in a classic countryside house style. The roof of the mushroom house is made by an high grade cab of moss agate. The moss and all its details can be seen perfectly without the use of any magnifying glass. Moss Agate contains mineral inclusions that imitate the looks of trees, plants, and landscapes. The color is usually green on neutral or transparent background, but rarely it can be found with red and brown patterns due to the corrosion of the iron within the chlorite and hornblende. The back of the house is of course adorned as well, check the pictures to see!

Garnet Amanita Muscaria Key NecklaceAmanita Muscaria, also known in italy as the ''evil egg'' or in my family as ''the Snow White mushroom'' even though nobody knows where this term came from, as there are no mushrooms in Snow White. This is the 8th Key to the Gate of the forests. This one, instead of unlocking something, it keeps it closed. The power of this key is in fact special. This key keeps the darkest parts of the forests, that are covered in poisonous plants and mushrooms, closed from entering. This necklace features multiple cabs of garnet. Most people associate the word "garnet" with a red gemstone; however, they are often surprised to learn that garnet occurs in many other colors (from orange, to red to purple) and in this piece you'll be able to see dirrefent shades of red. The most commonly encountered minerals in the garnet group include almandine, pyrope, spessartine, andradite, grossular, and uvarovite. The Garnet crystal meaning is rooted in ancient history and comes from the Latin word ‘granatum’, which means pomegranate, a reference to its intense red color that resembles the glistening, deep red seeds of the fruit.

Citrine and Honey Mushrooms Design (you can choose to have it finished as a ring or as a necklace)This design, can be made either as a necklace or as a statement ring. It holds a beautiful pear shaped cabochon of Citrine Quartz and a smaller rough crystal of the same stone. The stones are adorned by hand sawn and hand formed leaves and mushrooms. Citrine is a variety of quartz whose color ranges from a pale yellow to brown due to ferric impurities. Brazil is the leading producer of citrine, with much of its production coming from the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The name is derived from the Latin word ‘citrina’ which means "yellow" and is also the origin of the word "citron". Sometimes citrine and amethyst can be found together in the same crystal, which is then referred to as ametrine. Citrine has been referred to as the "merchant's stone" or "money stone", due to a superstition that it would bring prosperity. Citrine was first appreciated as a golden-yellow gemstone in Greece between 300 and 150 BC, during the Hellenistic Age. The yellow quartz was used prior to that to decorate jewelry and tools but it was not highly sought after.
