Full Moon Locket Necklace
This moon locket is a special piece! The front has a beautiful carved moon face, made out of mother of pearl. Once opened, there’s the moon and the sun, locked together for eternity. In the back, maidens are dancing under the full moon.
There is a small scuff (natural pitting of the mother of pearl) on the front stone, it is visible on the forehead (see photos).
The piece has been oxydized for extra contrast.
The piece is stamped with my maker mark and 925 mark.
The necklace chain is 41,5cm long.
All of the stones used in my pieces are all natural unless stated.
Every piece is entirely made by me using metalsmithing techniques in my studio in Italy.
