Barn Owl Necklace
A small owl pendant I made, it’s simple yet so cute! The tiny details give the piece more dimension. On its chest you can see carved the Celtic symbol of the triskelion. Now, how did I make this you are wondering?! Well, I created it using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. I learned how to carve and sculpt in wax, making a tiny reproduction of a barn owl, which was then turned into silver by a foundry in Florence Italy!
The piece will be oxydized for extra contrast.
The piece will be stamped with my maker mark and 925 mark.
The necklace chain is 43cm long.
All of the stones used in my pieces are all natural unless stated.
Every piece is entirely made by me using metalsmithing techniques in my studio in Italy.
