Fairies and Witches of the Woods
This fall collection is inspired by ancient tales of mystical creatures that roam the woods, fairies and witches. Especially in their favorite season, Autumn. They continue to create magic undisturbed, hidden in the deep of the forests, and this is their story.
They say there’s to sides to every story. But they never thought about it that way. For a long time, for them, there was only their side, and no one else’s.
But the fairy and the witch of the woods soon learned that that was not the important part. What was important was to be on the same one. Together, in one side. Stronger, wiser and confident. Together to guard their precious home, nature. They heard lots of rumors from the frogs and the tulips about the sudden changes that were happening in their beloved home. But at first they both brushed it off, thinking that it’s was just “garden’s chat”, I mean, the tulips were always famous for gossiping about the forest habitants. But things started to get more serious and their home was suddenly changing. The waters were always unstable, there was either too much of too little, sometimes they could not chat with the flowers, as their throats were too dry too speak. And the sudden changes in temperature did not make their lives easier. It started just like that, and soon the two sides were fighting. Constantly blaming and accusing each other and not looking for a solution. The witches accused the fairies of being too frivolous and incompetent at taking care of their home, saying they were messy and faking everything just to blame the witches. While the fairies were certain that it was the witches fault, accidentally (or purposely, they hadn’t decided that yet) brewing a potion that destroyed everything they cared for. But one day the queen of their forest, decided to stop this ongoing fight and let the people talk, just like a trial, with witness and what not. And then all the animals and flowers of the woods started talking, and the dots started connecting, one frog admitting he saw a pink thingy all dressed and kind of weird looking, dumping barrels in their lake. And then came the flowers, talking about the same pink things arriving and destroying their land, picking their sisters and then departing, leaving behind all sorts of trash. And one of the wild berries said that they actually herd the pink things call themselves “humans”. Though they did not understand what it properly meant, as they had really no humane trait in their actions. So it turns out it was the pink’s fault. It was not them. So they united, and tried to make the world better, just as it was before. One conscious action at a time, united.

Fairy Dust Bottle/Potion - Rough Ethiopian Fire Opal and Australian Opal NecklaceThis double-sided necklace features, in the front, a small rough Ethiopian Opal. Precious opal mined in Ethiopia began entering the gem and jewelry market in 1994. But the most important opal discovery in Ethiopia to date was made in 2008. This opal can have vivid play-of-color flashing from a body color of clear, white, yellow, orange, or brown. Opals mined in Ethiopia, are hydrophane opals. A change in color or transparency often accompanies the water absorption, so beware of the stone getting in contact with water. In the back of the necklace you have a small, round, Australian Opal. The sedimentary opal deposits of central Australia occur along generally flat-lying horizontal layers within 30 metres of the earth’s surface. Dark Ombrè Tourmaline Moon Ring - Size 7 USTourmalines are divided in 11 different types depending on their properties and chemical composition. Tourmaline crystals of just one single colour are rare as even slight variations in the gemstone’s composition cause completely different colours to appear. In fact, most tourmaline deposits are found in veins that run through rocks, which were created by molten magma from volcanoes. As the magma cooled, large cracks formed, which were filled with a solution of water and minerals such as iron, lithium or manganese that, over time, turned into crystals of tourmaline and other stones. It is these trace elements that give tourmalines their vivid colours, ranging from red, green and blue to yellow, black and orange. Size 7 US - 14 IT
