'Brucaliffo' Key Necklace
The ‘Brucaliffo’ is the Italian version of the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland. Sometimes I think the Italian names are just so iconic and thoughtfully created I like them better! This is the 29th ‘Key to the gates of the forest’. Each key I create unlocks a specific part of the woods, and this one is no different. The caterpillar here helps and guides you to the gates of the wonderful magical lands. Full of crazy mushrooms that make you as tall as the trees and as small as the ants. Woods that have very strange flora and fauna, a hatter with a few loose screws and living cards!!
The chain is 42cm long.
The pieces have been oxydized for extra contrast.
The pieces are stamped with my maker mark and 925 mark.
All of the stones used in my pieces are all natural unless stated.
Every piece is entirely made by me using metalsmithing techniques in my studio in Italy.
