The Mad Hatter Un-birthday-Cake-Hat LocketWith Garnets Necklace
Under the Mad Hatter’s cylinder, sits a beautiful cake. A cake by all means, three layers high, with delicious buttercream frosting and beautiful cream flowers as décor. On top sit seven cherry juicy maraschino cherries made of garnet stones (they are bignè-shaped). At the centre a candle is placed, because what unbirthday would it be without a candle? A standard birthday? The horror! The hat opens on the bottom to reveal a secret concealed space, to keep your treasures in.
The chain is 43cm long.
The pieces have been oxydized for extra contrast.
The pieces are stamped with my maker mark and 925 mark.
All of the stones used in my pieces are all natural unless stated.
Every piece is entirely made by me using metalsmithing techniques in my studio in Italy.
