Down The Rabbit Hole - Tree Trunk Geode Locket NecklaceAlice has fell down the rabbit hole. I re-imagined it as it she was falling down into an infinitely long tree trunk. The inside walls of the trunk are covered in paintings, pictures, bookshelves, there's a rocking chair.. and when Alice finally reaches the bottom, there's a sofa, a cushion, and a cozy fireplace.

Alice In The White Rabbit's House - Locket With Garnet NecklaceAlice should have thought better than being nosy and entering the white rabbit’s house without permission. She now seems to be in a bit of a pickle. She ate one of the infamous ‘’eat me’’ cookies, that turned her into a giant! Her arms have broken glass and are out the windows, while her feet have perforated the poor rabbit’s house. The necklace bail is adorned with a pretty heart-shaped garnet stone.

The Mad Hatter Un-birthday-Cake-Hat LocketWith Garnets NecklaceUnder the Mad Hatter’s cylinder, sits a beautiful cake. A cake by all means, three layers high, with delicious buttercream frosting and beautiful cream flowers as décor. On top sit seven cherry juicy maraschino cherries made of garnet stones (they are bignè-shaped). At the centre a candle is placed, because what unbirthday would it be without a candle? A standard birthday? The horror! The hat opens on the bottom to reveal a secret concealed space, to keep your treasures in.

Alice In Wonderland Book Locket NecklaceOne of the most cherished books as been turned into silver. I present you my book locket necklace for ‘Alice in Wonderland’. In the front there’s the iconic talking doorknob, daring you to open the door and step into Wonderland. In the keyhole, you can glimpse the magic of that (a fossilized ammonite). The spine of the book is adorned with a garnet stone and the iconic red queen’s rose tree. In the back you have some of the iconic characters and objects of the book/movie. You have ‘the drink me bottle’, the daisy, Dondolibellula and Panfarfalla from the ‘Meriggio D’Oro’ (In the Golden afternoon in the ENG version), you have Toperchio from the Mad Hatter’s scene. Once you open the book, there’s the famous ‘’we are all mad here’’ quote engraved inside. At the end of the book, Alice falls in a vortex that brings her back to reality.
Soldier Cards Locket NecklaceThe red queen’s guards are in formation. The red heart cards have surrounded and entrapped Alice with their heart-shaped spears, almost like a cage!
This locket opens in the back and you can put inside your favourite things… or crystals! It will come with a few surprise crystals for you to keep inside, but it’s all up to you! |
'Brucaliffo' Key NecklaceThe ‘Brucaliffo’ is the Italian version of the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland. Sometimes I think the Italian names are just so iconic and thoughtfully created I like them better! This is the 29th ‘Key to the gates of the forest’. Each key I create unlocks a specific part of the woods, and this one is no different. The caterpillar here helps and guides you to the gates of the wonderful magical lands. Full of crazy mushrooms that make you as tall as the trees and as small as the ants. Woods that have very strange flora and fauna, a hatter with a few loose screws and living cards!!
'Cappellaio Matto' Tea Party Labradorite NecklaceThe Iconic tea party scene with Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. In the front there’s also Toperchio (the small mouse in the teapot, which I don’t know the English official name!). The front features a stunning and big labradorite stone, that you can also peak from behind the piece. (PS: Cappellaio Matto is Italian for Mad Hatter).
'Stregatto' Amethyst Stalactite Slice NecklaceA beautiful slice of amethyst stalactite in the front, while the back is adorned with Alice’s encounter with the Cheshire Cat (Stregatto in Italian).
'Meriggio D'Oro' Purple Labradorite NecklaceThe garden scene in Alice, when the flowers chant ‘’All in the golden afternoon’’ (aka ‘Meriggio D’Oro in Italian) has always been one of my favourite scenes in Alice. The flowers are literally iconic, the daisy, the pansies and the cute daffodil!! I had to include the ‘’Panfarfalla’’ (Italian for Butterfly bread) and the ‘’Dondolibellula’’ (Italian for the dragonfly rocking horse). The stone use for this piece is a flashy purple labradorite.
'Stregatto' Banded Amethyst NecklaceThis necklace has the Cheshire Cat in the back (aka Stregatto in Italian), with its hauntingly famous smile. The stone featured in this piece is a beautiful chevron amethyst, with its coloured bands it’s reminiscent of the cat’s own stripes.
'Tulgey Woods' Apatite NecklaceThe cutest Apatite stone ever, for the cutest critters in Alice in Wonderland. The back has hand-sawed details and in between them you can glimpse the back of the stone.
'Red Queen's Croquet Match' Rose Quartz NecklaceThe stone is a beautiful cabochon of rose quartz. The back features the iconic moment when the Queen of Hearts plays croquet with a poor flamingo and a hedgehog. The King of hearts is next to the queen, while her guards act has the hoops of the game.
'Le Ostrichette' Agate Slice, Moonstone, Amber NecklaceProbably one of the saddest scenes in the Alice in Wonderland world. The oysters were so cute! Here’s a little scene before they reach their demise. The little baby oysters follow the Walrus out of the sea. The main stone used for this piece is a slice of Agate, which has a slight shell shape. And if you remember this seen in the 1951 movie, it’s half night and half day. So I incorporated a tiny yellow Baltic Amber for the sun and a moonstone for the moon. Also to note, the big agate stone slice, it is normally dark grey-ish, but when held against light (lightbulb or the sky) it turns yellow-orange (from night to day like in the scene!).
'Capitan Libeccio' Lapis Lazuli NecklaceCaptain Dodo (aka Capitan Libeccio in Italian) is probably one of the most frustrating characters in the series, tell me you didn’t scoff at him when you were a child!? But the scene is just too cute with the dancing fish, stars, lobsters and little critters of the beach! The front of the stone features a beautiful Lapis Lazuli stone, that you can also glimpse in the back.
'Oreste' Cat in Daisies Labradorite NecklaceAlice’s cat (Dinah in English) at the beginning of her story is just so cute, especially when they roam the daisies fields. So I just had to capture it! The stone used for this necklace is a labradorite.
Red Queen's Castle Labradorite NecklaceYou can glimpse the Queen castle through the trunk of one of the forest’s trees. The stone used is a labradorite, it has amazing flashes of color both in the front and back (blue, purple, yellow..).
Brucaliffo's Geode NecklaceThe Brucaliffo (aka the Italian version of The Caterpillar) seems to have found himself on top of a beautiful amethyst geode. While puffing his hookah, he asks you ‘’Who are you?’’ while forming the letters ‘U R U’.
The Rabbit Hole Geode NecklaceA tiny White Rabbit with his iconic pocket watch is sitting on the edge of his rabbit hole. The rabbit hole is made of a beautiful dark grey-black agate geode. You can also see the glimpse of the agate formations from the outside!
Angry Pansies Uruguay Amethyst Point NecklaceThe iconic pansies get angry and frustrated by the end of the song with Alice, and I’ve always found their incredulous faces so cute, so I had to incorporate them in their own piece. The stone used for this is a high-quality amethyst point from Uruguay, with a really deep and rich purple colour.
'Card Painting' Vanadinite Crystal NecklaceThe gardeners have planted by mistake white roses instead of red. So they are in a rush to paint them red before the Queen of Herts sees the mistake. Here the clubs cards are painting on top of a beautiful specimen of Vanadinite.
'Card Painting On A Ladder' Spinel NecklaceThe gardeners have planted by mistake white roses instead of red. So they are in a rush to paint them red before the Queen of Herts sees the mistake. Here the clubs cards are painting on top of a beautiful and rare specimen of spinel crystals on matrix.
Oyster With Pearl NecklaceA beautiful solid silver oyster with a cultured freshwater pearl. The inside is smooth, while the outside of the shell is textured to resemble a real oyster (rough texture, barnacles, dots and stripes like the outside of a shell..).
The White Rabbit Agate Geode NecklaceA beautiful agate geode acts as a little cavern/hiding hole for the white rabbit.
'Drink Me' Glass Bottle (It Opens!) NecklaceA glass bottle necklace, made to keep by your side your mementos or your perfumes, essential oils.. anything you’d like. The necklace is part silver (the cap) and part glass (the bottle). The bottle comes with a rollerball top as well for keeping perfumes or oils inside. But you can also take it off and put solid things and use it as a normal glass bottle.
